Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Culinary Team Leader to oversee the preparation and execution of premium steakhouse cuisine. Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the culinary team in preparing exceptional steakhouse dishes, specializing in grilled meats, complementary sides, and house-made sauces. You will be responsible for designing and regularly updating seasonal and à la carte menus that highlight premium steaks, fresh seafood, and gourmet accompaniments, ensuring variety and quality that exceed guest expectations.
Oversee the flawless execution of all dishes, maintaining consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes. This includes managing the entire kitchen staff—hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling sous chefs, grill cooks, and prep team members. Conduct regular team meetings to foster improved performance, boost morale, and ensure consistency across all shifts.
Mentor junior staff members to cultivate a culture of respect, discipline, and professional growth. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment at all times, ensuring readiness for service periods through diligent oversight of daily food preparation.
Manage the proper use and upkeep of grilling equipment, ovens, and other kitchen tools, guaranteeing operational efficiency and safety. Enforce compliance with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations by conducting regular audits and inspections of kitchen and storage areas. Maintain HACCP logs and uphold best practices in food handling and storage.
Take charge of inventory management by monitoring stock levels, maintaining supplier relationships, and placing ingredient orders as necessary. Closely track food costs and kitchen expenses, working collaboratively with management to minimize waste and maintain budget compliance without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
