Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Ticketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing domestic and international flight bookings, ensuring seamless travel arrangements for our clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of airline procedures, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. You will support both individual and corporate travel needs while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in booking, issuing, and canceling flight tickets for both domestic and international travel.
- Provide accurate fare quotes and present various travel options tailored to client requirements.
- Liaise directly with airlines to manage flight changes, accommodate special requests, and confirm fare details.
- Maintain meticulous records of all ticketing transactions, including refunds and reissues, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, whether in person or via telephone, delivering exceptional service at all times.
- Support senior team members with group bookings, itinerary planning, and the management of corporate travel arrangements.
- Keep abreast of the latest airline policies, route updates, and promotional fares to provide clients with the most current information.
- Ensure all ticketing activities comply with IATA regulations and internal company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is highly advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and resilience, especially during peak travel periods.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
