Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives within the infrastructure and heavy machinery sectors. This role requires strategic planning, client acquisition, and revenue growth management, focusing on both government and private sector projects. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual growth plans, setting clear milestones and strategies aimed at client acquisition and achieving revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead generation techniques.
- Build and nurture strong business and partner relationships via phone, email, and in-person meetings to enhance client engagement and increase spending.
- Clearly align project expectations and goals with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide comprehensive product and sales information to internal teams in coordination with foreign principals, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to customize products according to client needs.
- Pre-qualify government projects and tenders, managing pre-delivery inspections and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with project teams to ensure timely recovery of receivables and manage cash flow effectively.
- Actively promote principals’ products to both government and private sector customers within the assigned region, ensuring balanced market penetration.
- Onboard new principals and work to maximize their sales potential, maintaining a balanced sales portfolio alongside existing principals.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, product support, administration, finance, supply chain, and planning teams to enhance profitability and expand the customer base.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor progress closely, providing regular performance reports and data insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with the service delivery team to guarantee client satisfaction and maximize customer retention.
- Finalize pricing strategies and prepare sales forecasts bi-annually to support budgeting and planning.
- Prepare detailed financial accounts and budget outlines on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
