Fire Fighter Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and safety-focused Fire Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our facility by inspecting and maintaining fire safety systems, enforcing safety protocols, and promoting a culture of fire prevention. This position requires a proactive individual with strong knowledge of fire safety systems and hazard control, capable of conducting training and emergency preparedness activities to safeguard personnel and property.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire hydrants and alarm systems to ensure they are fully operational and compliant with safety standards.
- Monitor and enforce the Permit to Work (PTW) system rigorously, ensuring all work activities are carried out safely and in accordance with established procedures.
- Organize and lead fire drills and firefighting training sessions to prepare employees for emergency situations and enhance overall fire safety awareness.
- Identify potential hazards within the factory environment and develop effective mitigation strategies to minimize risks and prevent incidents.
- Prepare detailed safety reports documenting inspections, incidents, and corrective actions, ensuring accurate records are maintained for compliance and continuous improvement.
- Investigate fire-related incidents thoroughly to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, including fire hydrants, alarms, and other firefighting equipment.
- Proven ability to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures in an industrial or factory setting.
- Experience in enforcing safety protocols such as the Permit to Work system to maintain a safe working environment.
- Competence in preparing safety documentation and conducting incident investigations with attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certification in firefighting or related fire safety training is highly advantageous and will be considered a strong asset.
- Candidates with prior experience in conducting fire drills and delivering firefighting training will be preferred.
