Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data and Enrollment Coordinator to support our educational programs across multiple schools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing student enrollment and attendance records, overseeing data collection and quality assurance processes, and coordinating assessments. This role requires strong organizational skills, experience in field data collection, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders including facilitators, parents, and community members. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate data management and supporting program monitoring and evaluation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect and manage enrollment forms for all students, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Monitor and record daily attendance for students across schools, maintaining up-to-date learner profiles.
- Systematically track and analyze data related to student dropouts to inform program interventions.
- Conduct community visits and facilitate focus group discussions with key stakeholders such as digital learning facilitators, parents, and community members to gather insights and foster engagement.
- Administer both formal and formative assessments, ensuring smooth logistics and coordination.
- Hire, train, and supervise contractual enumerators responsible for conducting assessments as required.
- Ensure accurate recording, storage, and management of assessment data, maintaining data integrity throughout the process.
- Monitor and evaluate program processes regularly to ensure compliance with established standards and protocols.
- Implement and manage data collection tools tailored to research variables, conducting observations and gathering relevant data to support research objectives.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to monitor program implementation and progress, providing guidance and support to Field Officers and facilitators.
- Collect firsthand information and observations during visits to inform continuous program improvement.
- Download, clean, and collate data collection forms to prepare datasets for analysis, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Upload collected data onto designated platforms, performing quality assurance checks and promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues.
- Review and validate data submitted by facilitators, field officers, and enumerators to maintain accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content, learning, and operations teams to support their data collection requirements.
- Demonstrate flexibility by undertaking additional tasks as assigned by the line manager to support overall program goals.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in field data collection and monitoring, particularly within educational settings.
- Proficiency with data collection platforms such as SurveyCTO, ODK, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
