Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to coordinate branch activities within a special school or organization focused on children with special needs. The ideal candidate will apply their expertise in behavior therapy, special education, and therapeutic services to support the development and well-being of children with diverse learning requirements. This role involves delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, educating students with mild learning challenges, and providing essential speech, language, and occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily branch operations in a special school or organization serving children with special needs, ensuring smooth and effective program delivery.
- Utilize knowledge and certification in Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Intensive Behavior Technician (IBT) to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions.
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as a qualified therapist, designing and executing individualized treatment plans to support behavioral development.
- Educate special education students, particularly those in Montessori and primary classes, who are identified as mild or slow learners, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique needs.
- Deliver speech and language pathology services aimed at improving communication skills and addressing speech-related challenges among students.
- Offer occupational therapy services to assist children in developing fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities, enhancing their overall functional independence.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Intensive Behavior Technician (IBT) with practical experience in applying ABA therapy.
- Proven experience working in special education settings, particularly with Montessori and primary-level students who have mild learning difficulties.
- Competency in delivering speech and language pathology services, with a solid understanding of communication disorders and intervention strategies.
