Job Summary
Healthwire is looking for a seasoned HR professional to lead the end-to-end recruitment and HR operations for its retail pharmacy workforce, including pharmacists, store leads, and sales teams. This role is critical in advancing the company’s mission to enhance healthcare accessibility and affordability for over 220 million people in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, high-quality hiring and efficient HR management, working closely with operations and franchise teams to develop scalable recruitment systems. Additionally, this role demands strict adherence to labor laws and pharmacy regulations while nurturing a mission-driven culture across both corporate and frontline staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for retail pharmacy staff, ensuring alignment with Healthwire’s strategic business goals.
- Achieve shop-level hiring targets within a 21-day timeframe without compromising candidate quality or fit.
- Oversee payroll processing, attendance monitoring, employee record maintenance, and benefits administration to guarantee smooth, audit-ready HR operations.
- Partner with operations and franchise teams to anticipate staffing needs and reduce time-to-hire through proactive workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and pharmacy-specific regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR documentation.
- Administer and maintain HR information systems (HRIS) and employee data management tools effectively.
- Lead performance management processes, including scorecard administration, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating structured feedback.
- Support managers in building high-performing teams by providing coaching and designing tailored employee development plans.
- Play an active role in fostering and sustaining a strong, mission-aligned organizational culture across all levels of the company.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of hands-on HR experience, specifically in retail hiring and HR operations.
- Deep knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems, and performance management best practices.
- Demonstrated success in scaling HR processes and systems within fast-growing, dynamic environments.
- High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both office-based and field teams.
- Fluency in English, Urdu, and Punjabi is essential; proficiency in Pashto is a significant advantage.
