Job Summary

The Security & Admin Supervisor at Shams & Brothers, based in Kot Lakhpat, Lahore, is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the company’s daily security and administrative functions. This position involves managing security personnel and janitorial staff to ensure a safe, secure, and well-organized workplace. The supervisor enforces strict adherence to safety protocols, gate procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), while coordinating with various departments to maintain effective administrative control and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

The Security & Admin Supervisor manages the security guards’ shift schedules by preparing and adjusting duty rosters to guarantee full coverage. They ensure all guards report on time and are present according to the assigned shifts. Daily inspections are conducted to verify compliance with store SOPs, particularly focusing on the handling and security of scrap and waste materials during their movement.

Maintaining professional standards, the supervisor enforces uniform and presentation guidelines to ensure security personnel appear neat and disciplined at all times. They oversee the Inward Gate Pass (IGP) process, ensuring all incoming goods are properly documented, stamped, and authorized. Similarly, the supervisor manages the Outward Gate Pass (OGP) system, verifying that all outgoing items undergo accurate processing and security checks.

Strict compliance with IN/OUT SOPs related to attendance, gate pass issuance, and sample movement is monitored closely. The supervisor performs floor-wise energy conservation inspections to identify unnecessary lighting usage and communicates these findings to the administration for corrective measures.

Monitoring employee entry and exit is a key responsibility, with accurate attendance records maintained consistently. The supervisor also keeps updated attendance registers and guest entry logs, including precise recording of courier and TCS deliveries. They oversee loading and unloading operations to ensure smooth logistics handling and supervise janitorial staff to maintain hygiene and cleanliness throughout the premises.

Additionally, the supervisor reviews and verifies entries in company vehicle log books to ensure adherence to movement protocols, supporting overall operational integrity.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in security or administrative roles. Strong organizational and supervisory skills are essential, along with keen attention to detail and operational discipline. Excellent communication, reporting, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities are required to effectively manage teams and coordinate with various departments.

A solid understanding of industrial safety and security protocols is necessary. Basic computer proficiency, particularly in MS Word and Excel, is advantageous for maintaining records and reports. The ability to lead teams effectively and maintain smooth interdepartmental coordination is critical for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Retired Army personnel are highly preferred due to their discipline, leadership experience, and familiarity with security operations. Experience or familiarity with factory operations, safety protocols, and gate pass systems is also desirable.

This is a full-time position based at the Kot Lakhpat, Lahore location, offering a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000. The role reports directly to the Admin/HR Manager and is essential for maintaining the security integrity and administrative efficiency of Shams & Brothers’ operations.
