Job Summary
Hash Clinics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ranging from routine cleanings to complex procedures such as dental implant placement. This role emphasizes diagnosing, treating, and advising patients to promote and maintain excellent oral health. By managing existing dental conditions and educating patients on preventive care, you will play a crucial role in supporting the long-term dental well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze patients’ medical and dental histories to understand their overall health status.
- Prepare patients for treatment, including administering oral sedation or anesthesia when necessary to ensure comfort.
- Conduct detailed examinations of teeth, gums, and other oral structures using X-rays and diagnostic tools to identify dental issues accurately.
- Perform routine dental cleanings and plaque removal to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
- Detect tooth decay and restore cavities using appropriate filling materials.
- Design, fabricate, and fit dental prosthetics such as bridges, crowns, and dentures to restore patient function and aesthetics.
- Administer teeth-whitening treatments to enhance patient smiles.
- Carry out tooth extractions, root canal treatments, and surgical procedures on diseased tissues and bones with precision.
- Prescribe medications as needed for treatment and pain management.
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and fluoride use, to prevent future dental problems.
- Promote regular dental check-ups and raise awareness about overall oral health within the community.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dentist with a strong foundation in general dentistry.
- In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene principles and clinical practices.
- Proficiency in the safe and effective use of dental equipment and tools.
- Experience performing dental surgeries and tooth extractions.
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or an equivalent qualification that permits professional dental practice.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
- A compassionate and approachable demeanor to help patients feel comfortable during treatments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with patients.
