Job Summary
The HR Assistant is a crucial member of the human resources team, responsible for supporting the daily administrative functions that keep the department running smoothly. This role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping, benefits administration, and facilitating clear communication within the HR framework. The primary objective is to ensure efficient HR operations that effectively meet the organization’s workforce requirements and contribute to a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
The HR Assistant plays a hands-on role in recruitment by posting job advertisements, coordinating interview schedules, and maintaining ongoing communication with candidates to ensure a seamless hiring process. They support the onboarding of new employees by preparing all necessary documentation and conducting orientation sessions to help new hires integrate smoothly into the company.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital, is a critical responsibility. This includes ensuring compliance with company policies and data confidentiality standards. The HR Assistant also assists with payroll preparation and the administration of employee benefits, helping to ensure timely and accurate processing.

In addition to these tasks, the HR Assistant helps organize training sessions, staff meetings, and other HR-related events, contributing to employee development and engagement initiatives. They serve as a point of contact for employees, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries about HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

Supporting various HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR team is also part of the role, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach. Throughout all duties, maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive HR and employee information is paramount.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should ideally hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role is highly beneficial, providing a foundation for understanding HR processes and workplace dynamics.

Strong organizational skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact professionally with employees, candidates, and team members.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary to handle documentation, reporting, and presentations effectively. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality are critical attributes for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working night shifts is preferred, with at least one year in a similar HR or administrative role considered advantageous. This position is full-time and requires in-person attendance at the office located on Saidpur Road, Rawalpindi.

The monthly salary for this role ranges from Rs25,000 to Rs40,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
