Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends to identify areas for performance improvement across the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and current financial projections to support decision-making. This role requires adaptability to quickly engage with new projects, including ad-hoc assignments that arise.
You will design and develop sophisticated financial models that underpin planning and forecasting activities. Leveraging technical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, dashboards, macros, and advanced Excel formulas will be essential to address complex financial challenges effectively. Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and dashboards that facilitate analysis and deliver actionable insights will be a core part of your duties.
Increasing productivity through the development of automated reporting solutions is expected, enabling more efficient workflows. You will extract, compile, and summarize financial transaction data to generate meaningful business insights that inform strategy. Monitoring and reviewing budgets and expenses to uncover opportunities for cost reduction or expense recovery will also be a key responsibility.
Additionally, you will perform other relevant tasks as assigned to support the broader finance team and contribute to the organization’s financial health.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related discipline. A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar financial analyst role is essential. Proficiency with advanced Excel tools and financial planning and analysis software—including Power BI, Tableau, and dashboarding platforms—is required.
Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CA (Finalist), or CFA (at least Level 2 passed) are mandatory. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary to effectively convey complex financial information.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to respond promptly to urgent requests and manage multiple tasks independently. Self-motivation and a high degree of autonomy in executing tasks are critical. Expertise in Excel, including formulas and functions, is expected.
An adaptable personality with the capacity to take instructions and work flexibly across diverse task types is important. Attention to detail combined with a fast execution pace will ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Excellent collaboration skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also required.
