2D Draftsman

Job Summary
We are seeking a proficient 2D Draftsman with 3 to 4 years of experience in an architectural firm to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed 2D architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings. This includes creating precise layouts for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Strong expertise in AutoCAD and related drafting software is essential. The role requires close collaboration with architects and engineers to ensure all drawings are accurate and up to date. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bahria Town, Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate 2D architectural drawings, ensuring clarity and compliance with project requirements.
- Develop comprehensive layouts for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, integrating them seamlessly into architectural plans.
- Collaborate effectively with architects and engineers to revise and update drawings as project needs evolve.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant design standards, building codes, and regulations to maintain quality and safety.
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions for easy access and reference throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience as a 2D Draftsman within an architectural firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting tools essential for producing high-quality drawings.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and the ability to interpret and produce construction drawings accurately.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
