Senior Software Engineer (React)

Job Summary
Join Experian as a Frontend Developer and take a leading role in designing and developing responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative features while optimizing applications for speed and scalability. Your expertise will ensure the creation of robust, maintainable, and bug-free system architecture. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers and translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions that align with Experian’s strategic goals. Maintaining strict adherence to security protocols and data privacy standards is a critical aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of responsive web applications utilizing React.js, Redux, and TypeScript. You will be responsible for driving frontend architectural decisions to solve domain-specific challenges effectively. Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability will be a key focus, ensuring an excellent user experience.

Collaboration is essential; you will work alongside product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to define, design, and ship new features. Quickly analyzing and resolving production issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance is also part of your daily responsibilities.

Mentorship plays an important role in this position. You will guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Translating business needs into technical solutions that support Experian’s objectives will be a core function, alongside designing and implementing maintainable, bug-free system architecture.

Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies is expected to keep Experian’s applications at the forefront of innovation. You will also ensure all development complies with Experian’s security protocols and data privacy requirements.

Required Qualifications
You must have strong proficiency in React (version 17+), Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js is essential. A deep understanding of asynchronous programming, including its challenges and solutions, is required.

Advanced skills in CSS3, HTML5, and Bootstrap are necessary, and familiarity with CSS-in-JS libraries like styled-js is advantageous. You should be comfortable converting design mockups from tools such as Figma or Illustrator into functional, high-quality components.

Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Enzyme is important to ensure code quality. Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, is expected. Additionally, familiarity with GraphQL and managing browser compatibility issues is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
