Job Summary
Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery (MWD), a leading provider of White Glove furniture delivery services since 1989, operates across 44 U.S. cities with a team of over 1,200 professionals. Specializing in eCommerce furniture delivery, warehousing, and white-glove solutions, MWD is seeking a Finance and Warehouse Analytics professional. This role is pivotal in supporting operational and financial insights across more than 40 hubs nationwide. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with warehouse managers to analyze operational data and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
The Finance and Warehouse Analytics professional will work alongside Warehouse Managers to develop daily schedules for yard operations, inbound receipts, and outbound dispatches. These schedules will be based on sales forecasts and registered orders to ensure smooth workflow. A critical part of the role involves calculating precise staffing needs for each activity, identifying any excessive or idle labor hours to optimize workforce utilization.

Monitoring trailer and container dwell times is essential, with the responsibility to issue aged-equipment alerts to management promptly. The role also includes generating daily activity heat maps to pinpoint idle labor and operational bottlenecks, enabling targeted interventions.

Analyzing controllable Profit & Loss lines is a key function, aimed at improving operational efficiency. The candidate will investigate adverse variances through root-cause analysis and conduct trend analysis on damage claims, recommending effective countermeasures. Additionally, benchmarking utility expenses against volume, throughput, floor area, and staffing levels will help identify areas for cost control and corrective action.

Managing daily reporting schedules is vital to ensure timely delivery of reports to Warehouse Managers and Vice Presidents. The role also involves leading continuous improvement projects with warehouse teams, quantifying cost savings and operational gains.

Data extraction and analysis from time-punch systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), routing, and utilities form the backbone of this position. The candidate will develop advanced Excel models using pivot tables, Power Query, and VBA/macros to highlight inefficiencies and cost leakages. Coordination with the Business Intelligence team is required to transition mature Excel models into Power BI reports for enhanced data visualization and decision-making.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Supply Chain, or related fields. Professional certifications such as CIMA, CMA, or ICMAP are highly preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in finance operations or warehouse analytics is required.

Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential, including expertise in Power Query, VBA/macros, and pivot tables. Strong skills in SQL, DAX, and Power BI for data analysis and reporting are also necessary to succeed in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This is a full-time onsite position based at Plaza 145, Civic Center, Phase IV, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi, with working hours from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The company offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 120,000 per month, with opportunities for promotions and annual increments based on performance.
