Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technical Worker to join our dynamic solar energy team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar power systems for both residential and commercial clients. This role requires hands-on expertise with electrical systems, rooftop installations, and solar panel technology, ensuring that all projects comply with design specifications and adhere to strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
The Technical Worker will be responsible for installing solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and other related components following detailed design plans and safety protocols. Routine inspections and maintenance tasks will be performed to guarantee optimal system performance. The role also involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical wiring and connections that impact energy output.

Supporting electricians and engineers during system testing and commissioning phases is essential. The candidate must consistently follow company safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site. Accurate reading and interpretation of technical drawings and system plans are required to ensure precise execution of tasks.

Daily work reports must be prepared, maintaining clear communication with supervisors regarding progress and any challenges encountered. The position demands the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should ideally hold a technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy fields. Prior experience in solar system installation or electrical work is highly advantageous. Proficiency in the safe and effective use of hand and power tools is essential.

Comfort with working on rooftops and using ladders or scaffolding is required. A solid understanding of basic electrical systems and components is necessary to perform the job efficiently. Physical fitness is important, as the role involves lifting heavy equipment and working in physically demanding environments.

Willingness to travel to different job sites as needed is expected. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, demonstrating a dedicated work ethic and keen attention to detail.
