Job Summary
We are looking for a committed Injection Molding Supervisor to manage daily production activities, ensuring that both output targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors and shift in-charges to guarantee smooth shift transitions, optimal manpower allocation, and continuous operational efficiency. This hands-on role involves overseeing machine setup, operation, and maintenance, as well as proactively troubleshooting to minimize downtime and reduce waste. Collaboration with the quality assurance team is critical to resolve product non-conformities and implement corrective actions effectively. The supervisor will also be responsible for managing production schedules, maintaining accurate shift documentation, and monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Training and evaluating machine operators and shift technicians to boost performance and safety standards will be a key responsibility. Additionally, the role demands driving continuous process improvements through lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and other methodologies while ensuring full compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. The supervisor will also assist in planning and implementing new molds, tools, or machinery as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily injection molding operations to meet production and quality objectives.
- Collaborate with supervisors and shift in-charges to ensure effective shift handovers and efficient manpower distribution.
- Oversee the correct setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Monitor process parameters closely, identify operational issues, and troubleshoot promptly to reduce downtime and material waste.
- Work in partnership with the quality assurance team to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Manage production schedules, prepare detailed shift reports, and track inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate machine operators and shift technicians to improve operational efficiency and workplace safety.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, 5S, and related process enhancement methodologies.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety, health, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Support the planning, installation, and commissioning of new molds, tools, or machinery as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in injection molding or related manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, machine operation, and maintenance protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage shift operations effectively.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Willingness to commute or relocate to Gujrat, with relocation assistance provided by the employer (preferred).
- Full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs110,000.
- On-site work location with an anticipated start date of June 30, 2025.
