Job Summary
We are looking for a committed Technical Support Specialist to join our team and provide expert assistance to users of our CMS platform designed for website creation. This full-time, onsite role is based at GITMIT Co-Working Space, Gulberg 3, with working hours from 6 PM to 3 AM PKT. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, guiding users through troubleshooting processes, and supporting website setup, customization, and feature integration. Collaboration with development and product management teams is essential to ensure user concerns are promptly and effectively addressed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support and assistance to CMS platform users primarily via email, ensuring timely and clear communication.
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues related to website creation, guiding users step-by-step through troubleshooting procedures. Escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Assist users in website setup, including configuration, customization, and integration of additional features to enhance their online presence.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as development and product management to relay user feedback, address concerns, and contribute to ongoing platform improvements.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive user experience throughout all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in a technical support position, ideally within the software or web development industry.
- Strong proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with website builders like WordPress, Wix, or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with a customer-centric mindset to effectively resolve user issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability in managing and resolving technical challenges independently.
Additional Details
- Location: Onsite at GITMIT Co-Working Space, Gulberg 3, Lahore.
- Schedule: 9-hour shifts, 5 days a week, from 6 PM to 3 AM PKT.
- Compensation: Salary up to PKR 100,000 per month, typically ranging between PKR 90,000 and PKR 95,000.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
