Job Summary
Safa Worldwide Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dependable and tech-savvy IT Assistant to join their team at the DHA Phase 6 office in Karachi. This full-time, office-based position plays a vital role in supporting the IT infrastructure of a busy call center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing system updates, and supporting call center software and CRM tools. Key Responsibilities
The IT Assistant will provide daily technical support to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. The role involves monitoring IT systems continuously to prevent downtime and performing routine maintenance such as installations, updates, backups, and server upkeep.
Managing and troubleshooting IT devices such as printers, laptops, desktops, and routers is a core part of the job. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting call center-specific software and CRM applications, ensuring these tools function efficiently for end-users.
Maintaining security is critical; therefore, the IT Assistant must keep antivirus software, firewalls, and other security measures up to date and effective. Accurate documentation of IT assets, technical issues, and their resolutions is essential for maintaining operational transparency.
When necessary, coordination with external service providers will be required to resolve complex technical problems. Prompt response to support requests is crucial to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, although relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience in IT support, preferably within a call center or office environment, is highly desirable. Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, hardware installation, and basic networking concepts is essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, effective communication, and the ability to document technical issues clearly. Being self-motivated and capable of prioritizing tasks independently is important for success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This position offers a fixed monthly salary of PKR 40,000. The working hours are Monday to Saturday, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, based at the DHA Phase 6 office in Karachi.
