Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with 7 to 10 years of demonstrated success in sales leadership, specifically within call center operations. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, managing and developing high-performing sales teams, and streamlining sales processes to improve business outcomes and customer satisfaction. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to implement effective sales strategies in a fast-paced call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and manage a motivated sales team within a call center setting. Develop and roll out training programs to enhance team skills and maintain consistent, high-quality performance. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement and professional growth.
Call Center Sales Operations:
Oversee daily sales activities in the call center to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness. Implement targeted strategies to improve customer interactions and increase overall team productivity. Regularly analyze performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed to ensure sales targets are met.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at achieving or surpassing revenue goals. Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets to expand the customer base. Continuously monitor campaign performance and market trends, adjusting tactics to optimize results and maintain competitive advantage.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Manage escalations professionally to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver seamless and positive customer experiences that align with company objectives.
Revenue Growth & Target Achievement:
Set ambitious yet attainable sales targets and lead the team to consistently meet or exceed these goals. Track and report sales metrics to ensure alignment with overall company objectives. Develop and promote incentive programs that motivate and reward the sales team’s performance.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work in close partnership with marketing, operations, and HR departments to align goals and initiatives. Provide regular sales reports and performance insights to senior management. Ensure all sales operations comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of sales management experience, with a strong focus on call center operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a call center environment.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot, along with call center tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement effective sales strategies.
