Job Summary

We prioritize expertise, innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in all our operations. We are currently seeking an Executive in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) based in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our environmental and safety systems, ensuring strict compliance, and supporting sustainable practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
You will oversee the compliance, operation, and maintenance of critical environmental systems, including the Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system. This includes ensuring the smooth functioning of New TRO Phase 1 and Phase 2, as well as Multiple Effect Evaporator (MEE) systems. Your responsibilities also extend to managing bore wells, Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Preventive Maintenance (PM) Analyzers, piezometers, fire pump rooms, and rainwater harvesting systems. Coordination with maintenance teams to provide timely support is essential.

Maintaining compliance with comprehensive waste management protocols is a key part of your role. This includes handling biomedical waste, solid hazardous waste, e-waste, plastic waste, and used oil in accordance with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed logbooks documenting all environment-related compliances.

Conducting and monitoring environmental testing is critical. You will oversee stack monitoring, ambient air quality assessments, noise level measurements, pressure vessel testing, and inspections of lifting tools and tackles, ensuring all activities meet prescribed standards. Managing controlled document processing, including change control, training, and effectiveness monitoring, will also fall under your purview.

You will coordinate with external environmental laboratories (Envirolab) to identify and address compliance gaps. Efficiently processing purchase requests (PR) through to payment under vendor management is expected. Additionally, you will undertake any other activities or projects assigned by the Plant Head.

Implementing and maintaining an effective Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System is a core responsibility. You will support the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management systems, procedures, and processes to enhance safety for employees and stakeholders. Assisting in the deployment of Environmental Management Systems to manage environmental aspects, meet compliance obligations, and address risks and opportunities is also required.

Your role includes conducting HSE-related reporting, risk assessments, and audits. Ensuring all operations comply with state and central Drug Acts, company safety regulations, and HSE policies and procedures is mandatory. Promoting effective communication and awareness of the HSE management system throughout the organization will be vital to fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience managing environmental systems such as ZLD, STP, ETP, and waste management. A strong understanding of occupational health and safety management systems and environmental compliance standards is essential. You should be capable of conducting environmental monitoring and testing in line with regulatory requirements.

Experience in document control, training, and vendor management processes is required. Familiarity with statutory regulations, including Drug Acts and company safety policies, is necessary. Excellent coordination and communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with internal teams and external laboratories.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
