Job Summary
As a Senior Delivery Manager at Experian, you will assume a critical leadership role, working closely with diverse teams to drive the successful delivery of projects and ongoing operations. You will be an integral part of a forward-thinking department, contributing to innovative initiatives and the development of platforms that influence the future of the business. This position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, blending project delivery with business-as-usual activities to support Experian’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead multiple interconnected projects and continuous activities within your designated portfolio, ensuring that delivery plans are clearly defined and executed efficiently. Managing resource allocation is a key part of your role, including the line management of approximately 10 full-time employees. You will maintain a comprehensive resource plan that balances team capacity, skill sets, development needs, and planned absences to optimize performance.
Your oversight will ensure that products and services are delivered to clients on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Proactive risk and issue management, along with clear communication, will be essential to maintain smooth project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
As a leader, you will serve as a role model, fostering a culture of accountability and proactive management within your team. You will provide frameworks and guidance to help the team meet agreed-upon quality, schedule, and cost targets, while ensuring operational readiness for seamless transition to support functions.
Continuous improvement is a priority; you will identify opportunities to enhance productivity and efficiency, delivering greater value with fewer resources. Staying informed about the business development pipeline, you will align delivery efforts with the broader business strategy.
Financial management is a critical aspect of your role. You will ensure accurate financial reporting and oversee CAPEX and OPEX projects, keeping partners well-informed and satisfied. You will also manage team resources within approved budgets, including core and incremental expenditures.
You will report directly to the Director of Technology, providing all mandated reports with accuracy and adhering to required formats and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) or equivalent professional experience is required. You should have proven experience managing multiple projects and teams, demonstrating strong leadership and resource management capabilities. A track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards is essential.
Excellent communication skills are necessary to manage stakeholder expectations effectively and maintain transparent reporting. Experience in financial oversight related to project budgets and operational expenditures is also required.
