The Senior Software Developer will join the OBIX® Perinatal Data System team, responsible for delivering flexible solutions that integrate with hospital electronic health records (EHR). This role focuses on developing and maintaining web-based projects aligned with both technical and business objectives, troubleshooting issues, coding new features, and upholding high standards of quality and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce coding best practices, secure coding standards, and effective version control within the development team.
- Collaborate closely with team members, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code that meets functional requirements and improves user experience.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve product bugs in partnership with colleagues.
- Provide advanced technical support to both team members and customers as needed.
- Address complex technical challenges such as performance bottlenecks, architectural limitations, and user experience concerns.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to contribute effectively to ongoing projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience with strong expertise in C++.
- Solid understanding of modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17), object-oriented design principles, and the Standard Template Library (STL).
- Proficiency in Python fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and algorithm complexity.
- Experience working with APIs, RESTful web services, REST API architecture, and Git workflows.
- Hands-on experience with SOAP and WSDL technologies.
- Strong skills in SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, including database connectivity.
- Familiarity with encryption/decryption techniques, hashing algorithms (SHA256, RSA), and authentication systems.
- Proficient in regular expressions and key-based authentication methods.
- Good understanding of security risks and performance optimization best practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience is also acceptable.
