QA Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in manual testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing both in-house products and Salesforce-based solutions. While automation testing experience is a plus, it is not mandatory for this role. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure thorough test coverage and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Developing, maintaining, and executing manual test cases for both web and mobile applications will be your primary focus. You will perform a variety of testing types, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Collaborating with development and product teams is essential to fully understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

You will be responsible for logging, tracking, and reporting defects using issue-tracking tools such as Jira or Trello. Early in the development cycle, you will review product requirements to identify any gaps or ambiguities. Additionally, you will assist in test planning and help assess release readiness to ensure smooth deployments.

Though automation testing is not mandatory, you will support automation efforts when required, using tools like Selenium or Postman.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing. A solid understanding of QA processes, including the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), is essential. You should be able to write clear and concise test plans and test cases.

Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases is required. Familiarity with Salesforce-based applications or other CRM systems will be considered an advantage. Exposure to API testing using tools such as Postman is also beneficial.

Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla is necessary. Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities are critical to succeed in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or JMeter is highly desirable. Basic scripting knowledge in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript will give you an edge. A good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred.

We offer a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs140,000, depending on your experience. Our work environment is friendly and supportive, promoting collaboration among team members.
