Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee and manage CCTV control room operations, ensuring continuous and effective surveillance coverage. This role is critical in maintaining the security infrastructure by supervising the installation, maintenance, and functionality of CCTV systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have practical experience managing Video Management Systems (VMS), monitoring live video feeds, and ensuring strict compliance with relevant laws and company policies. This position requires close collaboration with multiple departments to uphold high security standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily CCTV control room activities to guarantee uninterrupted and effective surveillance coverage across all monitored areas.
- Coordinate routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CCTV systems and associated infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and replacement of cameras and supporting systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
- Manage Video Management Systems (VMS), ensuring proper functionality, seamless integration, and timely updates.
- Monitor live video feeds continuously, review recorded footage, and promptly report any suspicious or abnormal activities to the appropriate authorities, following established protocols.
- Ensure full compliance with local surveillance laws, privacy regulations, and company policies, including adherence to HIPAA and GDPR standards.
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Administration, and IT departments to address security concerns and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks of CCTV footage and operator performance to maintain high surveillance standards.
- Develop, review, and update surveillance procedures and emergency response protocols to enhance operational readiness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Network Operations Center (NOC) in alignment with evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in CCTV surveillance or related security operations.
- At least 4 years of overall relevant experience in security management or a related field.
- Proven expertise in managing and operating Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Strong knowledge of local surveillance laws, privacy regulations, and compliance standards, including HIPAA and GDPR.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments such as Compliance, Legal, and IT.
- Experience conducting audits and maintaining high-quality surveillance standards.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site, as the position requires physical presence in the control room.
