HR Generalist

Job Summary
Khas Socks & Knitwear, a leading socks manufacturing company based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, is seeking a motivated and adaptable HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is integral to supporting a diverse workforce and ensuring smooth HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine commitment to employee support within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles, including factory workers and administrative staff. This involves posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting initial interviews, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

Employee Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and grievances. Provide clear guidance on company policies and procedures to foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

HR Administration:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical and digital formats. Manage HR databases efficiently while ensuring compliance with data protection laws. Prepare necessary HR documentation such as letters, reports, and other official correspondence.

Compensation & Benefits Support:
Assist with payroll data entry, monitor leave and attendance records, and support benefits administration including EOBI, SESSI, and provident fund contributions.

Performance Management Support:
Help implement performance appraisal processes and provide administrative assistance for performance improvement plans to enhance employee productivity.

Policy Implementation:
Communicate, interpret, and enforce HR policies consistently across the organization. Ensure all practices comply with local labor laws and assist in implementing and monitoring KPIs approved by senior management.

Training & Development Support:
Identify basic training needs and coordinate training sessions, particularly for factory staff. Focus areas include safety, regulatory compliance, and essential skills development.

Compliance:
Ensure all HR activities adhere to Pakistani labor laws such as the Factories Act, Industrial Relations Act, and Payment of Wages Act.

Health & Safety:
Support health and safety initiatives within the manufacturing facility to promote employee well-being and maintain a safe working environment.

HR Projects:
Participate in various HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Head to support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Public Administration. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role is required, preferably within manufacturing, textile, or industrial sectors.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi.
