Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer with specialized expertise in vehicle paint systems to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and refining paint formulations and application methods to ensure exceptional finish quality, durability, environmental compliance, and cost efficiency throughout our automotive manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
You will lead the development and optimization of automotive paint formulations, including primers and basecoats, specifically tailored to meet the unique requirements of our vehicle manufacturing operations. A critical part of your role will involve enhancing paint application processes to improve surface finish quality, reduce material waste, and increase overall operational efficiency.

Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing and quality control to ensure paint processes align seamlessly with production goals. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting coating-related issues that arise during production, maintaining consistent surface quality standards.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience working with vehicle paints and coatings within an automotive or industrial setting is essential.

You should possess strong knowledge of paint chemistry, including curing mechanisms and surface preparation techniques. Familiarity with various paint application technologies, such as spray and powder coating methods, is required.
