Engineering Manager - MCU Software Development

This position centers on implementing and maintaining a new WiFi API to support the next generation of IoT product development. The successful candidate will innovate core WiFi technologies and address real-world customer challenges, balancing ease of use, performance, and efficiency in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical leader in MCU software development, guiding the design and implementation of software components to support new features.
- Develop and maintain robust software solutions that drive innovation in WiFi connectivity for IoT applications.
- Provide technical mentorship to team members through design and code reviews, as well as informal brainstorming and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to ensure alignment with product goals and customer needs.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, demonstrating deep expertise in C programming.
- Strong background working in highly resource-constrained, real-time embedded environments.
- Proficiency in Assembly Language programming for at least one MCU architecture such as ARM, RISC-V, AVR, MSP430, 8051, or HC08.
- Proven track record of writing and optimizing device drivers for MCU peripherals including UART, SPI, GPIO, I2C, RTC, DMA, and Watchdog timers.
- Experience with one or more real-time operating systems (RTOS), preferably FreeRTOS, uc/OS, or Zephyr.
- Skilled in using electronics bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to troubleshoot and validate hardware/software integration.
- Experience working within a global organization, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, especially for conveying complex technical content clearly and effectively.
- Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering high-quality results.
