Job Summary
Urban Communications, a rapidly expanding outsourcing firm located in I-8 Markaz, Islamabad, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Executive to join its team. This full-time, on-site position reports directly to the CEO and plays a crucial role in managing HR operations for a growing workforce of over 30 employees. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy enforcement, while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
General HR Operations:
Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee records, including contracts and HR databases, in both digital and physical formats. Oversee attendance tracking, leave management, and overtime records. Prepare monthly payroll inputs in coordination with the finance team. Manage onboarding and off-boarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation such as NDAs, company policies, and employment contracts are properly completed and securely filed.
Recruitment & Hiring:
Handle job postings and candidate sourcing activities. Conduct initial screenings to shortlist candidates and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers. Assist in preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and managing onboarding logistics to ensure a seamless hiring experience for new employees.
Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and grievances, addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Organize employee engagement initiatives and conduct regular feedback surveys to gauge workplace satisfaction. Support conflict resolution efforts and promote a collaborative, respectful work environment.
Performance & Training:
Coordinate and schedule performance appraisal meetings. Maintain detailed records of performance reviews and follow up on development or improvement plans. Identify training needs and arrange relevant sessions to enhance employee skills and professional growth.
Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws and company policies. Regularly update the employee handbook and internal HR policies to reflect current regulations and best practices. Assist with HR audits and prepare official reports as required by management or regulatory bodies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within a small to mid-sized organization.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and approachability in handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with payroll coordination is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Pakistani labor laws is highly desirable.

Compensation and Work Schedule
- Monthly salary of PKR 65,000.
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Observance of Eid holidays.
- Fourteen paid annual leaves.
- Performance-based bonuses linked to key performance indicators (KPIs).
