Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Inventory Officer to join our team. In this dual-function role, you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s financial records while managing inventory operations. Your primary focus will be to develop and maintain efficient systems that ensure accuracy in bookkeeping and inventory management. By doing so, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the organization’s financial integrity and optimizing inventory control processes. This position requires a candidate who is both analytical and collaborative, capable of working independently and as part of a team to support smooth operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records, performing all necessary bookkeeping tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including monitoring stock levels, verifying documentation, and ensuring proper handling of inventory data.
- Design, implement, and maintain effective systems for both accounting and inventory management to streamline operations and enhance data reliability.
- Analyze financial and inventory reports to detect discrepancies, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
- Work closely with various internal teams to facilitate communication and resolve any issues related to accounts or inventory promptly.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data entry, analysis, and reporting, alongside POS software to manage sales and inventory transactions accurately.
- Ensure all financial and inventory activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience and strong skills in accounting and bookkeeping, with a solid understanding of financial record-keeping principles.
- Proficiency in inventory management concepts and best practices, including stock tracking and documentation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and address discrepancies or inefficiencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as contribute positively within a team environment.
- Competent in using Microsoft Excel for data management and familiar with POS software systems.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Candidates willing to commute or relocate to Karachi are preferred, as this is a full-time, in-person role based at our Karachi office.
