Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Upwork Bidder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in uncovering new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the software development sector. This role requires excellent communication abilities, a proactive approach, and deep familiarity with freelance bidding platforms and sales tactics to consistently achieve and surpass targets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete bidding lifecycle across multiple freelance platforms, including Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, and PeoplePerHour. You will be responsible for creating customized proposals, estimates, and responses that align closely with client needs and project requirements. Prioritize and actively pursue leads that correspond with our core offerings such as Web Development, Mobile Applications, and emerging technologies.
Collaboration with internal teams is essential, along with providing regular progress updates to your reporting manager. Your role will also involve converting short-term projects into repeat business and establishing long-term client partnerships. Conduct thorough lead generation by researching market trends, analyzing competitors, and monitoring industry developments.
Maintain consistent client communication and follow-ups using CRM tools like HubSpot or Zoho to ensure smooth project progression. Deliver exceptional customer service by setting clear expectations, responding promptly, and maintaining a professional demeanor. Additionally, engage potential clients through LinkedIn outreach, cold emailing, and other outbound strategies. Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach techniques, Upwork best practices, and email prospecting will be highly advantageous.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of two years’ experience in freelance bidding and client acquisition within the technology services industry is essential. Proven hands-on experience working with freelance platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr is required.
Candidates should be comfortable using outreach and research tools like Apollo, Hunter.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to effectively engage with clients and internal teams. The ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines is also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This is a full-time remote position, with a preference for candidates based in Rawalpindi or Islamabad. Working hours are from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs120,000.
Candidates with over two years of experience on Upwork and other freelance platforms will be given preference. During the interview process, applicants will be asked to discuss their recent bidding experience on Upwork, including the number of bids won in the past six months.
