Job Summary
Al-Mustafa Welfare Society is looking for a committed and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to manage donor-funded welfare projects located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13, Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, implementation, and monitoring of these initiatives to ensure they achieve their intended goals while adhering strictly to donor requirements. This role demands effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless project delivery and maintain transparent communication with donors. Additionally, the Project Coordinator will conduct regular field visits to evaluate project progress and gather valuable feedback from beneficiaries, playing a crucial role in enhancing project impact and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor welfare projects funded by various donors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project proposals, including detailed budgets and progress reports, to support funding and accountability.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with donors, ensuring all project activities comply with their guidelines and reporting standards.
- Conduct frequent field visits to assess the status of projects on the ground, engage with beneficiaries, and collect feedback to inform ongoing improvements.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth execution of project activities and resolve any operational challenges promptly.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related discipline is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional reports.
- Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to support documentation and reporting tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a project coordinator within an NGO or similar welfare organization is highly desirable, providing familiarity with donor-funded project environments and community engagement.
