Job Summary
Bin Bakar Electronics, one of Lahore’s leading electronics retail chains, is seeking a dedicated Branch Accountant for its Bahria Town showroom. With five showrooms across Lahore and a growing online presence via bakar.pk, the company prides itself on delivering exceptional customer experiences both in-store and online. This full-time, onsite role is ideally suited for candidates living in or near Bahria Town. The Branch Accountant will be responsible for managing the branch’s financial records and supporting all accounting functions to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
The Branch Accountant will maintain accurate and timely financial records for the Bahria Town branch. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices and payments are processed promptly. The role requires regular reconciliation of bank statements and monitoring of cash flow to maintain the branch’s financial health.
Preparing detailed financial reports and statements for management review is a critical part of the job. The accountant will also collaborate closely with other departments to ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations. Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities for the branch is another key responsibility.
Additionally, the Branch Accountant will assist during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Daily bookkeeping tasks and maintaining organized financial documentation are essential to keep the branch’s accounting processes running smoothly.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), or an equivalent qualification. A basic understanding of computer hardware and software is necessary to support daily operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, is required to prepare reports and manage data efficiently. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills are essential to address financial discrepancies and improve processes.
Effective time management and the ability to multitask are critical to handle the diverse responsibilities of this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required to interact professionally with team members and management.
