Job Summary
Telenor Shared Services Pakistan is inviting applications for the position of Trainee Officer within the Finance & Accounting department, specifically in the Order to Cash (O2C) unit, based in Islamabad. Key Responsibilities
The Trainee Officer will be responsible for processing and booking customer invoices accurately using Oracle Fusion. This includes recording payments received from customers in the system with precision to maintain up-to-date financial records. The role requires active participation in month-end closing activities and preparing related financial reports to assist the finance team in meeting deadlines. Handling queries from both internal teams and external stakeholders is a critical part of the job, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of any discrepancies or issues. The candidate will also manage various ad hoc tasks assigned by the management to support the team’s objectives and contribute to continuous process improvement. Regular reporting on process performance to line management is expected to track progress and identify areas for enhancement.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should be ACCA Finalists or Affiliates, ICMA qualified, or hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or a related field. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential to effectively interact with stakeholders and prepare reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams, is required to manage data, presentations, and collaboration efficiently. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities effectively, and meet stringent deadlines without compromising accuracy. Excellent time-management and follow-up skills are crucial to ensure tasks are completed promptly and issues are resolved. Additionally, the role demands a collaborative mindset with the flexibility to adapt within a team and broader departmental environment.
