Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of strategies that strengthen positive relationships between employees and management within our organization. This role is pivotal in addressing employee grievances, resolving workplace conflicts, and ensuring that all workplace policies and disciplinary procedures comply with relevant legal standards. The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements while serving as the primary liaison with government agencies. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive salary of up to Rs300,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
The core responsibility of this role is to design and execute effective strategies that promote and sustain a harmonious work environment between employees and management. You will be tasked with addressing employee grievances and resolving conflicts in a manner that is fair, consistent, and professional.
You will develop, implement, and enforce workplace policies and disciplinary procedures that are fully aligned with legal and regulatory standards. This includes conducting thorough investigations into complaints and recommending appropriate disciplinary actions based on company policies.
Ensuring full compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory obligations is critical. You will act as the company’s primary liaison with government bodies such as EOBI, PESSI, the Labor Department, and the Workers Welfare Board, managing all matters related to employee welfare.
Additionally, you will facilitate employee access to social security and medical services and lead welfare initiatives in close collaboration with the Human Resources department. Representing the company during discussions and negotiations with government agencies will also be a key part of your role, balancing the protection of company interests with maintaining cooperative relationships.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the textile industry, with proven expertise in employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution. A strong understanding of labor laws, statutory requirements, and regulatory compliance is essential.
Experience working directly with government agencies related to employee welfare and labor matters is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively liaise between employees, management, and external bodies.
The ability to lead welfare initiatives and collaborate closely with HR teams is also important for success in this role.
