Job Summary
The HR and Admin Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all human resources functions and administrative operations within the organization. This position demands the development and execution of HR strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives, while ensuring seamless office administration, regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to managing recruitment, employee development, payroll, and employee relations, alongside supervising office facilities and administrative support services to enhance organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
The HR and Admin Manager will design and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support the company’s business goals. This includes managing the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and hiring to onboarding and orientation of new employees. Maintaining accurate employee records and HR databases is essential to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Payroll processing, attendance monitoring, leave management, and administration of employee benefits fall under this role’s purview. The manager will lead performance management programs, coordinate training initiatives, and drive employee development activities to nurture talent and improve workforce capabilities.
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies is critical, as is addressing employee grievances promptly and mediating workplace conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment. The role also involves supporting organizational change initiatives and contributing actively to culture-building efforts that promote engagement and retention.
Administration:
On the administrative side, the HR and Admin Manager will oversee daily office operations to guarantee the smooth functioning of office facilities. This includes managing procurement processes and maintaining inventories of office supplies and equipment to support operational needs.
Supervising administrative staff and coordinating essential internal services such as cleaning, maintenance, and security are key responsibilities. The manager will ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including managing licenses, audits, and contracts.
Additional duties include coordinating travel arrangements, organizing company events, and managing internal communications. Preparing reports, memos, and official documents for senior management will also be part of the role to facilitate informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications
