Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full-time remote role, open to candidates based in Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, and nearby areas. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the development and upkeep of data pipelines. You will work closely with senior engineers and analysts to ensure data needs are met efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Data Engineer, you will assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Your role will involve supporting data integration, transformation, and cleansing activities to maintain high data quality standards. Collaboration is key, as you will work alongside senior engineers and analysts to fully understand and deliver on data requirements. Monitoring data flow is an essential part of your duties, and you will be responsible for quickly identifying and resolving any pipeline issues that arise. Additionally, you will maintain detailed documentation of data processes and workflows to ensure clarity and continuity within the team.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have between six months to one year of experience in a Data Engineering role or a similar position. A foundational knowledge of SQL, Python, or ETL tools is essential. You should be familiar with databases and data warehouse concepts, enabling you to contribute effectively to data management tasks. Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail are critical to succeed in this role. Since this is a remote position, the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively is also required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure will be considered a significant advantage. Familiarity with data visualization tools or reporting platforms is also a plus, as it can enhance your ability to support data analysis and reporting tasks.
