Fashion Designer - Western

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and creative designer to develop stylish and on-trend western wear collections specifically for boys aged 2 to 14. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of current market dynamics and international fashion trends, enabling them to craft designs that resonate with today’s young consumers. This role requires close collaboration with merchandising and sampling teams to ensure smooth and efficient product development. The designer will be responsible for creating detailed tech packs and managing the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring that every design meets the brand’s high standards for quality and aesthetic appeal. This is a full-time, in-person position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking children’s fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Design fashionable and age-appropriate western wear collections for boys aged 2 to 14, incorporating current trends and market insights.
- Conduct comprehensive research on both local and international fashion trends to inform and inspire design concepts.
- Work closely with merchandising and sampling teams to streamline the product development process and ensure alignment across departments.
- Prepare detailed and accurate tech packs that clearly communicate all design specifications to production teams.
- Oversee the product development timeline to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality samples and finished products.
- Ensure all designs consistently reflect the brand’s quality benchmarks and aesthetic standards, maintaining brand integrity throughout the development process.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a closely related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in fashion design, with a focus on children’s wear or similar categories.
- Strong knowledge of current market trends and an understanding of international fashion influences relevant to children’s apparel.
- Proven ability to prepare comprehensive tech packs and collaborate effectively with merchandising and sampling teams.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, in-person team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
