Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for leading and managing sales operations within a designated geographic region. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by building and nurturing strong customer relationships and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. The ASM will oversee a team of Sales Representatives, providing leadership, coaching, and support to maximize their performance. Additionally, the ASM will work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales strategies with the company’s overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Developing and executing effective sales strategies tailored to the assigned region is a primary responsibility. The ASM will monitor sales performance on an ongoing basis, ensuring that targets are achieved and identifying areas where improvements can be made. Analyzing sales data and market trends is essential to uncover new opportunities for growth and to refine sales approaches.

Leadership is a critical aspect of this role. The ASM will motivate, guide, and coach a team of Sales Representatives, fostering their professional development and enhancing team productivity. Collaboration with other departments, including marketing, product, and customer service, is necessary to ensure that sales initiatives are well-integrated with broader company goals and customer needs.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is considered an advantage and will be viewed favorably. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience, with a minimum of [X] years in sales overall and at least [X] years in a managerial role.

A strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential. The candidate should demonstrate excellent leadership skills, with experience managing and developing sales teams. Superior communication and negotiation abilities are required to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions is important. Additionally, candidates should be skilled in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines efficiently.

Salary: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
