Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Umrah Passport and Documentation Staff member to join a fast-growing travel agency based in Karachi. This full-time position plays a crucial role in managing pilgrims’ travel documents, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free Umrah experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of handling sensitive documentation with accuracy and care. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, is required. Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of pilgrims’ travel documentation. This includes collecting, verifying, and organizing passports, visas, and other essential travel documents. You will assist pilgrims with visa applications, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Accurate data entry is critical, as you will be responsible for inputting pilgrim information into tracking and record-keeping systems to maintain up-to-date records.
Verification of the authenticity and validity of passports and other documents is a key part of the role, helping to prevent any issues during travel. Timely and organized return of passports and documents to pilgrims is essential to maintain trust and satisfaction. Effective communication is also vital; you will keep pilgrims informed about the status of their documents and notify them of any additional requirements or updates.
Throughout all tasks, strict adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies is mandatory to ensure compliance and smooth processing.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Umrah passport processing or related documentation roles is essential. Proven experience in direct customer handling is required, as this role demands frequent interaction with pilgrims and team members.
Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively convey information and address queries. Additionally, candidates should possess strong negotiating skills and a target-driven mindset to meet deadlines and performance goals consistently.
