Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our export company based in Lahore. Key Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate bookkeeping and ledgers on a daily basis. This includes preparing and managing invoices for both local and international clients and suppliers. The role requires conducting financial reporting and account reconciliation regularly to ensure accuracy. You will also record purchase orders, sales, and payment transactions, while maintaining export-related documentation relevant to accounting processes.

Additionally, the Junior Accountant will assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports. Coordination with logistics and operations teams is essential to ensure accurate order-based accounting entries. The role demands strict adherence to applicable financial regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance at all times.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in an accounting role is required, with experience in the export/import sector considered a valuable plus. A strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debit and credit entries and reconciliation, is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and familiarity with accounting software will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
