Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bidder to join our business development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and submitting bids for software development projects across leading freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and PeoplePerHour. This role supports our development team by securing new opportunities in custom software development, SaaS solutions, web and mobile applications (iOS & Android), and software testing services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our project pipeline and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to identify relevant projects on freelancing platforms that align with our software development and SaaS offerings. You will draft tailored, compelling proposals and bids that clearly address client requirements while highlighting our technical expertise and project experience. Collaboration with the technical team is essential to fully understand project scope, timelines, and deliverables before submitting any bids.

Managing client communication from initial contact through to successful project onboarding is a key part of the role, ensuring a smooth transition for new clients. You will also be responsible for tracking all submitted bids, following up on opportunities, and providing regular updates on bid status and client feedback. Additionally, analyzing job postings to qualify leads, filter potential clients, and assess project feasibility will be necessary to focus efforts on the most promising opportunities.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience bidding on software, web, mobile, or SaaS projects via freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, or PeoplePerHour. Strong written communication skills are essential, with the ability to create clear, concise, and persuasive proposals tailored to client needs.

A basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), web and mobile technologies, and SaaS business models is required. The ability to interpret technical briefs and translate them into client-focused solutions is critical. Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary to handle multiple bids and deadlines efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently in a remote environment. While a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, it is not essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with software development agencies or startups is highly desirable. A background in sales or marketing within IT or technology services will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with project management and communication tools such as Trello, Jira, Slack, CRM systems, or bidding automation tools is a plus.

This is a full-time position offering a starting salary from Rs40,000 per month. Please note that the role requires working from our office location.

Candidates will be asked to provide details about their experience bidding on software, web, mobile, or SaaS projects, previous work with software development agencies or startups, a self-assessment of their written English communication skills, familiarity with relevant technologies and concepts, and their comfort level with independent remote work.
