Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and nurturing long-term relationships within the pharmaceutical and related industries. The ideal candidate will be proactive, capable of working both independently and collaboratively, and committed to driving the company’s growth through strategic market research, client management, and professional representation at various industry events.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and connecting with potential clients to broaden the company’s market footprint. This includes conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to discover new business opportunities and stay ahead of emerging industry trends. Building and sustaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and key stakeholders is essential to this role.
Additionally, the candidate will assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and tender documents to support the company’s business acquisition efforts. Representing the company professionally during online meetings, exhibitions, and other events—both locally and internationally when necessary—is a key part of the job.
Regularly preparing detailed reports and presentations for management is also required, highlighting business opportunities, sales forecasts, and market feedback. Throughout all communications, the Business Development Executive must maintain a professional image of the company, ensuring a positive and consistent brand presence.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field. A background of 1 to 2 years in business development, sales, or client relationship management is required, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role demands confident engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
