Job Summary
Genezone International Marketing Solution is looking for a skilled and committed IT Support professional to join our team at the Gulshan-e-Iqbal office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure by providing hands-on technical support for both hardware and software systems. This position involves troubleshooting, system maintenance, and assisting with the deployment and management of IT assets, directly impacting the efficiency and productivity of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive first and second-level technical support for a variety of hardware devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Support software-related issues involving operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business applications.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, both remotely and on-site, to minimize downtime and ensure continuous workflow.
Conduct routine system maintenance tasks such as applying software updates, managing patches, performing basic network checks, and monitoring overall system health to maintain optimal performance.
Assist in setting up new workstations, deploying necessary software, and managing IT assets and inventory to ensure proper documentation and availability of resources.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or possess equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or a similar technical role is highly desirable.
Technical proficiency must include troubleshooting Windows operating systems (Windows 10 and 11), and strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
A basic understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and LAN, is essential.
Familiarity with common IT hardware and peripherals is required, along with experience using ticketing systems to efficiently manage and track support requests.
Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset are necessary to address and resolve technical challenges effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users and provide exceptional customer service.
The candidate must demonstrate professionalism, patience, and a customer-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is important.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are required.
