Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to manage container Maintenance and Repair (M&R) activities within our shipping operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing container inventory, coordinating repair processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role demands strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to maintain container quality and availability.

Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to oversee all container Maintenance & Repair (M&R) activities, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards such as IICL. You will monitor container inventory levels closely and manage the efficient movement of container stock to meet operational demands. Coordination with depots, vendors, and internal operations teams is essential to secure timely repair approvals while controlling costs effectively.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of container status, location, and condition is critical. You will conduct regular inventory audits and promptly reconcile any discrepancies to ensure data integrity. Additionally, generating and analyzing inventory and M&R reports will provide valuable insights to support management decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in shipping operations, particularly in container Maintenance & Repair and inventory management. A strong understanding of various container types, repair codes, and relevant industry standards such as IICL is essential for success in this role.

Proficiency in inventory management systems is required, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to handle data analysis and reporting efficiently. Excellent coordination and communication skills are necessary to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners. The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is also crucial.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary package, with an open budget based on your experience and skill set, ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs100,000 per month. Performance-based incentives include the provision of a company-maintained 660 cc vehicle, awarded based on achievement of targets.
