Registered Nurse - Cath Lab - Cardiology - CCU

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Nurse with a valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) license to join our cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of practical experience working in specialized cardiology units such as the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Cardiac Operating Room (COR), or Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab). This is a full-time, on-site contract position for a duration of 9 months. The role demands a hands-on nursing professional committed to delivering exceptional cardiac patient care within a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients within cardiology units, including CCU, COR, and Cath Lab settings. This includes continuous monitoring of patient conditions, administering prescribed medications, and assisting with both diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures. The nurse will work closely with cardiologists and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards is essential. The nurse must respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing critical care support when necessary. Additionally, educating patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions forms a key part of the role, ensuring patients are well-informed and supported throughout their care journey.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid PNC license to practice nursing. A minimum of 2 years’ experience specifically in cardiology nursing is required, with direct exposure to CCU, COR, or Cath Lab environments. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills and a solid understanding of cardiac care protocols and procedures. The position requires a full-time commitment for the entire 9-month contract period, with the willingness to work on-site at the designated healthcare facility.
