Business Analyst - Software Development

Job Summary
7 KINGS CODE, a US-based software solutions company with a global footprint spanning the USA, Canada, Europe, India, Pakistan, and the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a specialization in software development. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and analyzing the lifecycle of web and mobile products. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that product development aligns with both business objectives and technical feasibility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of software development processes.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and clearly communicating a product vision that supports the company’s strategic goals. Working closely with stakeholders, you will gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and expectations to guide the development process. This includes preparing comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), process flowcharts, and user stories.

Your technical proficiency will enable you to effectively liaise with development teams, leveraging your knowledge of programming languages like ReactJS, Java, and Python. You will oversee the project lifecycle by applying your expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC).

A key part of your role will involve implementing Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and managing tasks using project management tools such as JIRA. You will coordinate sprint planning sessions, create mockups and prototypes, and manage version control systems including GIT, GitHub, and Bitbucket. Additionally, you will utilize data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to generate insightful reports and dashboards, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of five years’ experience as a Business Analyst within a software company is essential, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing web and mobile products.

You should have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks and hands-on experience with Scrum practices. Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and effective communication with stakeholders is critical. Familiarity with programming languages and software development processes is required, along with experience using project management and version control tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
An MBA or an advanced degree related to business or technology is considered an advantage. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work onsite at our office located in DHA Phase 8, Ex Park View, Lahore. The work schedule follows Pakistan Standard Time from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, providing a unique opportunity to collaborate with a globally distributed team.
