Job Summary
We are looking for a committed and skilled Spoken English Trainer to conduct face-to-face training sessions for both students and teachers within school environments. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in English language education, particularly in spoken English instruction or teacher training. This role demands excellent communication and facilitation abilities, a talent for engaging learners from diverse backgrounds, and a strong understanding of CEFR-aligned teaching methodologies. The position is contract-based and involves close cooperation with master trainers and project leads to maintain the quality and impact of the training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic and interactive spoken English training sessions aimed at improving speaking, listening, and presentation skills among students and teachers.
- Implement learning activities that adhere to CEFR standards, enhancing learners’ communicative abilities effectively.
- Conduct and document pre-training and post-training assessments to track learner progress and training effectiveness.
- Collaborate regularly with master trainers and project leads to provide updates, ensure quality assurance, and align training outcomes with project goals.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 16 years of formal education in English, Linguistics, TESOL, or a closely related discipline.
- A valid IELTS score ranging between 6.5 and 7.0, or an APTIS qualification at B2/C1 level. Applications lacking this certification will not be considered.
- At least 1 to 2 years of practical experience in spoken English teaching or in training teachers.
- Strong proficiency in English communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse learner groups in classroom settings.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience or familiarity with CEFR-based instructional approaches is highly desirable.
- This is an in-person role offered on a contract basis, providing an opportunity to work closely with experienced trainers and contribute meaningfully to improving spoken English proficiency in schools.
