Job Summary
As a Management Trainee in the Tax and Corporate Department, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals to deliver high-quality tax advisory, compliance, and corporate secretarial services. This entry-level role is designed to provide structured training in tax laws, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks. Key Responsibilities
You will assist in preparing and filing corporate and individual tax returns, ensuring all submissions comply with applicable laws and deadlines. Supporting the preparation of documentation for tax audits, assessments, and communications with tax authorities will also be part of your duties.
Conducting basic research on tax legislation, double tax treaties, and corporate compliance matters is essential to support the team’s advisory work. You will draft and file statutory documents with local authorities, including company incorporations, structural changes, and annual filings. Maintaining organized client files and documentation to meet audit and compliance standards is a critical aspect of this role.
Participation in client meetings by taking detailed notes and following up on required documentation or data will help you develop client-facing skills. You will monitor deadlines and assist in tracking filing and payment obligations to ensure timely compliance. Collaboration with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, and Audit is necessary to provide coordinated and seamless service delivery.
Additionally, you will engage in ongoing training programs and seminars to enhance your knowledge of tax, legal, and business matters, supporting your professional growth.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in CMA, Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline, or be in the final year of their studies. A strong interest in tax, legal compliance, or corporate governance is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required. You must demonstrate good analytical and organizational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. High attention to detail and a proactive approach are critical for success in this role.
The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly is mandatory. Above all, candidates should be eager to learn and grow within a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While not mandatory, candidates with up to 1 year and 6 months of relevant experience will have an advantage. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a starting salary of Rs 25,000 per month.
