Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Management System (QMS) Lead to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of QMS processes across multiple departments within our organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards on a company-wide scale. This position involves facilitating audits, driving quality initiatives, and fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to meet quality objectives and embed quality consciousness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of QMS processes to maintain consistent and high-quality standards across all departments. Ensure that the organization complies fully with ISO 9001 or other applicable quality standards, maintaining readiness for both internal and external audits. Manage audit processes, including scheduling, execution, and follow-up on non-conformities and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
Develop, review, and update all quality-related documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other essential records to reflect current practices and compliance requirements. Deliver QMS training sessions tailored to employees at all levels, enhancing awareness and understanding of quality standards and procedures.
Monitor quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regularly, analyze trends, and identify deviations or areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to senior management to support informed decision-making. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with operational goals and ensure seamless collaboration.
Support regulatory inspections and customer audits by ensuring all necessary documentation and records are accurate, complete, and readily accessible. Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness throughout the organization to drive sustained operational excellence.
Lead and mentor a team of QMS officers or coordinators, offering guidance, support, and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or QMS roles is essential, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or regulated industries.
Strong knowledge and practical understanding of ISO 9001 and related Quality Management System standards are required. Proven experience in conducting both internal and external audits, managing quality compliance, and implementing corrective actions is critical.
Proficiency in QMS software and tools, along with a solid command of the Microsoft Office Suite, is necessary to perform the role effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
