Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Manager to lead and manage our organization’s IT operations and support systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in networking, system security, and infrastructure management. Hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, and Active Directory administration is essential. This role demands a dedicated professional who can ensure seamless IT infrastructure performance, uphold stringent security standards, and effectively support remote teams.
Key Responsibilities
The IT Support Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the corporate network infrastructure, including routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls. You will oversee system security to ensure all endpoints and networks comply with company policies. Administering Active Directory, including group policies and user access control, is a critical part of this role.
Configuring and troubleshooting VPNs to support remote workforce connectivity will be a daily task. You will implement, monitor, and optimize firewall policies and intrusion detection systems to protect the organization’s digital assets. Leading daily IT operations, resolving technical issues promptly, and managing helpdesk requests efficiently are essential to maintaining smooth workflows.
Additionally, you will develop and enforce IT policies and security protocols across the organization. Evaluating and recommending new hardware, software, and tools to enhance system performance and security is expected. Maintaining detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and support processes will ensure continuity and clarity. Providing training and guidance to junior IT support staff will help build a strong, knowledgeable team.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support, system administration, or IT infrastructure roles. Strong hands-on experience with VPN setup and troubleshooting is required. A deep understanding of networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and related protocols is essential.
Proven expertise in configuring and managing firewalls, particularly platforms like Fortinet and pfSense, is necessary. Extensive experience with Active Directory, including user and group policy management, is expected. A solid grasp of system security, access control, and endpoint protection measures is critical to this role.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently while proactively improving IT processes are key attributes for success.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server/Active Directory are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
